Purpose and Overview
This Safety Planning Framework is designed to guide frontline Intervention staff (Cybertip, Support, Project Arachnid services) in effectively responding to the safety needs of victims and survivors of online sexual violence and exploitation. The framework supports consistent, trauma-informed, survivor-centred, and rights-based responses across varying levels of risk and complexity. It is intended to enhance coordinated intervention, promote survivor safety, reduce ongoing harm, and support stabilization and recovery.
This framework reflects the integrated nature of C3P’s support services model, including coordination between Cybertip.ca, survivor support services, Project Arachnid, Arthropod, and related safety and advocacy functions. The framework emphasizes practical safety planning, collaborative problem solving, and individualized responses tailored to each survivor’s unique circumstances, developmental stage, and level of risk.
